I agree that the show is an insult to the intelligence of anyone who might subject themselves to that sort of boredom, but it is not something that could or would ever be reasonably described as "our national current affairs program." Having said that, I have no suggestion on how one could accurately describe that bit of journalistic regret. My only suggestion as better option for a name would be to simply call it Tracey's Cringetime.
The show is just a sad joke. I actually have concerns for what impact the show has on the self esteem of that unfortunate woman who has the unenviable task of presenting that rubbish, and having to look genuinely interested at the same time. Crikey, she surely must be eligible for some sort of Service to the Industry Beyond the Call of Duty Award......lol.
