i watched top gear several months ago - it was advertised as an hour and a half so i thought id time the show and the ads between
the ads started out at first about 8 minutes in then as the show went on gradually increased in frequency getting to air after about 4 minutes of top gear with 4 minutes of ads.
the show itself was about 55 minutes from memory.
and now we have extra channels so called free to air but the ads are horrendous and the shows are 30 years old
