"Anyone who has concerns with fine lines and wrinkles or uneven skin tone or even just dry skin will benefit from the product,” said David Khoo, Olay’s principal research scientist.
The product uses a magnetic infuser tool, with technology developed by Australian company OBJ, to massage, target and push active ingredients deep into the skin’s surface.
A Current Affair followed Mimi Ansalign, a mother of five, as she trialled the product for two weeks.
"I don't go for the really expensive brands, so the ones I do buy I can get at the supermarket," Mimi said.
"As I'm getting a bit older I do seen the fine lines and redness, so I suppose I'd just like to see if there's anything can do to help that."
Dermatologist Dr Phillip Artemi used a computerist facial analysis to track how Mimi’s skin changed as she trialled Olay’s Magnemask.

Before she started the trial, the computer put her skin age seven years older than her true age.
"The computer doesn't know you, but it's saying the person we're looking at looks like they're 53 years of age,” Dr Artemi said.
For the next two weeks, Mimi used the magnetic tool to apply the cream on the right side of her face, and she used her hands to apply the cream on the left side of her face.
When she returned to Dr Artemi at the end of the trial, she saw improvements on both sides of her face.
The computer analysis showed her skin age had dropped to 48 years old where she had used the magnetic applicator, and 43 years old where she’d used her hands alone.
While Mimi’s experience is that of just one woman - not a scientific study - she said her skin felt better just days after she started using the Magnemask.
"My skin actually feels great, the best it's felt in a long time,” she said.
Dr Artemi said the ingredients are the best indicator of quality for skin care products.
"There's a key ingredient, and I think that is the vitamin B3 or niacinamide, because we know that makes your skin healthier - it hydrates it, it can improve pigment, it can improve redness, and we saw all those things in Mimi,” he explained.
The Olay Magnemask retails for around $35.
