The interim report on the banking Royal Commission came out today
and it was scathing of the industry.

Anna Bligh who represents the industry called it a day of shame.

Full marks to the Shorten Labor Opposition and the odd man out
in Liberal George Christensen who put pressure on the govt to hold
    a Royal Commission.

The govt constantly resisted holding a Royal Commission and even
John Howard got in on the act calling against establishing a RC.
The Australian reported Howard called any RC into banks as
    “rank socialism"

On 23Nov 2017  PM Turnbull said a RC was not on while maverick Liberal
Christensen threatened to cross the floor and vote with Labor.

A week later the RC was called lol!
