I think your credibility in predicting election results might be questionable. I seem to recall you saying prior to the last election that Labor wouldn't be elected.
As for Costello on the floor of parliament, I find his forced, insecure smirks and smiles, and lack of confidence to be sort of pitiful and uncomfortable to watch in many ways. I wonder if he has some sort of guilt thing or something in that he feels inferior to his brother. Not sure what it is, but it's definitely something. Perhaps he just hates the fact that he behaves like such a tosser and can't help himself......lol.
Still, having said that, I haven't given up on him being PM.....just not sure. One thing I have no doubt about is that he'd be significantly better for this country than Howard. Howard was simply a disgrace.
However, I think Costello can forget about the next election. Labor will be in power for at least two terms.
The Australian public is enjoying having someone as decent as Rudd at the helm, and I don't think it will be prepared to risk having another possible rodent like Howard in charge again.
Perhaps the memory of Lil Johnny and his cohorts will be sufficiently erased by 2013.
