    re: a democracy dies with gillard's continuous... So is Andrew Bolt saying he suppports pokie reform and he thinks the majority of Australia also do?

    Or is he just scoring political points on the issue?

    Does he realise that the ALP did campaign for a price on Carbon in 2007 and 2010 , that so did the Liberal party in 2007?

    I think Andrew is prone to making things seem much bigger than what they actually are and missing out the big picture facts.

    Our democracy is alive and well parliament is actually functioning as it was originally intended a place where laws must be negoiated rather than a rubber stamp for the executive.

    If we are unhappy with the government as is the Australian way we get to chuck them come 2013 after their three year opportunity to prove their worth has expired.

    Long live democracy and down with those who are trying to bypass our election cycle for their own selfish need for power at any cost.
