Good point, I believe everyone who invest in CLQ are the believer of these pairs and the trend of rising EV and renewable energy could not be stopped as global warming is not a fake theory. Nickel and cobalt are the key metal for lithium ion batteries, because the cobalt price was too high previously, battery manufacturers are trying to reduce the proportion of the cobalt by increasing nickel. This has made nickel in strong demand, and it is not difficult to understand why nickel price had a 17% rally from the beginning of this year. All metal will be under priced or over priced from time to time, no one can time it perfectly and the market is not always efficient. As I mentioned earlier, the current issue is not about the future price of cobalt or nickel, it is more about if CLQ can get the favourable off take agreement and fully finance the project.
