Hi GK, I have been busy with work, so not really posting much, I am mostly out of the market now based on my investing rules (apart from a moderate long position in gold stocks).
I will be looking at increasing short positions on the Dow again in the coming months, but will be very selective about how and when I do it. I covered my short when the Dow broke above 16550.

Exactly, it is market noise, and can be very confusing in the thick of it.
I am mostly in cash, opportunity will come in time, sometimes its about exercising control and not overtrading. Valuations are stretched, eventually mean reversion opens up the market for us.
