Hcosah ...always a meticulous approach to decision making. I wish I had known you in my earlier years, because it was the silly mistakes I made that cost me huge returns. These mistakes sometimes included being compelled to act when no action was required. Or in some cases being speculative and believing in management to complete the task rather than looking a hard facts. I take your points on board, and fully agree the risk profile has changed, but in order to generate significant value this is really the only way for NBL to build equity quickly. They were never aggressive with the gearing because plainly, they couldn't have been and the scope was roll the dice and survive. On the basis of timing and decision making I think this Board have taken the view to really make an impact, build, possibly accquire, but in stages. I would love to be a friend of the MD to understand how NBL fits into their goalset.
