Benmoff, You can produce from two separate zones as long as they are the same PSI, if they are not the same PSI, the high PSI zone will run in to the low PSI zone, and could leak off. When they produce from two different zones it is that they are different PSI, they ALWAYS isolate the two zones. One of the big problems you have when drilling is a under ground blow out, this is when your gas/oil escapes and runs in to a weaker formation. This is why they ALWAYS run a CBL, this is to make sure that the gas/oil won't run up the out side of the casing. If you had been watching the GDN thread you will of seen all the drilling EXPERTS telling me they won't have to run a CBL, you will have seen that the CBL was the hold up. If your CBL is no good you don't have a well that will hold back the PSI. (CBL cement bond log) Roll on Monday.
