Ahh yes, my mistake saggito I meant cement, LKAB produce the concrete ( all concrete is simply cement mixed with aggregate n water).
The Portland cement being the vast majority of the carbon emissions in concrete.
I forgot to mention that the slag for CementAB’s green product uses iron slag from…. SSAB furnaces…
So we have a production loop going on there.
The reason I focused on these companies is to show that there is a Tsunami of big established corporate companies in Sweden, business councils, unions etc all united in wanting better clarity and certainty in the permit regime. No one I can see is saying ignore environmental concerns, but they are saying a proper balance ,and knowing ‘what the field is that they’re playing on’.
This all is very good timing for Talga I feel. As others have said Talga is the perfect project to show the Swedish permit system can adapt and work towards everybody’s best interests.
