while i'm sympathetic to refugees, I think the problem is only getting worse as there are just too many 'refugees' around.
If we don't stop the boats, then I can imagine they'll start arriving in container loads.
Just think about an unwanted person turns up at your living room, dressed in drags and don't speak your language, if any of you is generous enough to accept this person into your family, please do so. I am ashamed to say I simply wouldn't.
What I would do is to donate to charities to look after them, i.e. help end poverty and suffering in refugees' countries to reduce their incentives to come here
