Imagine if Victoria had similar numbers to NSW ? Our deaths might have been under 150 ? Maybe if NSW hadn't made mistakes we would be under 100 for the whole country ? We could have been approaching NZ numbers.
That said, we can't change the past. We can only learn from it.
But here's the most important point . Victoria has successfully got on top of Covid. While NSW's numbers are good, they didn't have to deal with a second wave like Victoria did. There are only a couple of other places in the entire world that have stopped a second wave.
That is a huge achievement. That does make us the envy of the world.
That also means that Australia has got on top of Covid. We have it under control.
All those other countries talked about have got Covid out of control. Restrictions increasing . Deaths increasing. The US is nearly at 1000 deaths per day.
There's a lot to be happy about in Australia at the moment.

Well not since Credlin decided to ask some tough questions and the Age did a bit of digging.
The ABC though were happy to watch on and just report on the Coate inquiry.
