Do you mean those business owners that are about to open up to a Covid free Australia ?
Of course we could've copied Europe where they are going into further lockdowns as Covid runs rampant over there. Ireland has shut down it's pubs ffs ! That's how serious they're treating it.
How many people do you think would go to a pub or a restaurant in Australia if Covid was widespread in the community ? How many people would want to go to a hospital if Covid was running riot through the medical system ?
Provided we keep this thing contained, we will be largely back to normal by Christmas while Europe and the US just get worse.
