Dan screwed up and the Vic people suffered to fix it. I guess you have to weigh that up for a good end result. They took the pain and hopefully the end of the major outbreaks. The ongoing question is do they have the tracing sorted and a plan to smash any other smaller outbreaks without shutting the whole country down. Given the govt made some serious obvious mistakes, people need to take care about their own situation and dont rely on them to figure anything out.
