#2...To categorically defend Job Keeper is untenable , IMO because: - some big corporations have been allowed to root the program because its terms /conditions were badly devised. There has been enough corporate examples cited in the media re corporations realising record profits over the past 18 months, paying extra bonuses to execs yet according to Job Keeper terms/conditions as interpreted by these corporations, they are entitled to keep the millions of taxpayers funds. IMO there is probably a host of smaller corporations not listed on the ASX who are doing the same as the biggies who have to publish financials.
#3 The Job Keeper/Job Seeker program was essentially a Keynesian program and as such Left Wing Socialist which is contrary to the policies/political philosophy of the Right which ScoMo Inc had hitched their wagon to going to the pole in 2019 (better money managers-low taxes (no removal of franking credits or abolition of the capital Gains Tax 505 concession)
In summary , the government has accrued an extra $300 billion of sovereign debt which will have to be paid later with extra tax collection. In other words they have said" we're a low tax Government" but went on a spending spree without a plan to "pay for the steak"
So that is why the Libs political philosophy & policies are all over the shop like a mad woman breakfast and to spin it otherwise is just that........spin, spin & more spin, IMO
