Back in the day (showing my age) - I lived right next to Woodside in Dampier working on the RTIO port. I said to my brother than we are investing to buy houses 60-100k at the time, but we do not take the same loans out for Woodside shares at $1.60 (from memory)

I sold my house for $395k (before the major boom) done well, but would have done a lot better holding Woodside shares from $1.60

AUZ is an investment now - not two years down the track at a few bucks

Traders trade 4 today and look back at shares and say "I owned that at 10c - now look at it"

Most my $$$ is in super, hence leave some companies long term
