If you were charged with an offence and the prosecution presented a case against you EVEN A PRIMA FACIE one technically you can stup up and say nothing in your defence and you proably would be stupid enough to do this
However if you want to not be found guilty the onus falls on YOU to mount a defence against the prosecutions case EVEN A PRIMA FACIE one.
To try and argue anything different is just displaying your ignorance and or stupidity
