Occam's razor might well apply here though it is a shame the TH was placed after 10am.
There's almost always a jump in the price of a well traded stock at opening probably because most people do their research at night and buy first thing in the morning. Then there's a subsequent bout of profit taking soon afterwards until about 10.30 or 11am. So the trading pattern you're talking about could be regarded as pretty normal.
