    Gone to the dogs: intimidating strategy Alan Jones and Ray Hadley used in war against Mike Baird

    According to a profile of 2GB personalities Ray Hadley and Alan Jones in the Herald last month, Hadley "acknowledges that both he and Jones' opposition to the greyhound racing ban probably brought about the premature demise of Mike Baird as premier in January."
    Well, that's just tabloid media in NSW doing what tabloid media in NSW has done for years: claiming scalps and insisting that it runs things in this state.

    With the reversal of the greyhound racing ban now just over a year behind us, perhaps it would be more interesting to reflect on what it was like to be at the centre of the most vicious tabloid jihad we have ever witnessed.
    Let me state again that the conditions in which tabloid media and politics operate in NSW are unique – and not in a healthy way.
