Hybrid cars had 3474.5 fires per 100,000 sale; petrol cars had 1,529.9 fires per 100,000 sales and EVs had just 25.1 fires per 100,000 sales. The primary cause of fires in EVs are batteries, according to AutoinsuranceEZ. 20 June 2023
ahhh @whezbobdidit I don’t mean to be a party pooper, and I’m not sure where you are getting your information from but Hybrids, are way more likely to go up in smoke than EV’s by far. Having a combustion source coupled with a lithium battery isn’t the greatest of ideas unfortunately from a safety perspective. But it would be great to see Anteo fly like an Eagle during this current geopolitical situation.
