Sila Nanotechnologies
Solution- Engineered porous silicon nano particles
Solution cost- Mid/low
Recent Funding- US$590M series F raising
Valuation- approx US$3B-$4B
Partners- BMW, Amperex, Mercedes

Enovix (personal favourite to join Anteo for one of the podium places)
Solution- Full cell battery architecture
Solution cost- Mid/low
Recent Funding- US$590M series F raise
Valuation- US$2B
Partners- Undisclosed but MOUs with leading global companies mainly in consumable devices.

Then there is Anteotech

Anteotech
Solution- unrefined silicon coupled with advanced binder technology
Solution cost- Low
Recent Funding- AU$4M via raise
Valuation- AU$65M
Partners- Trinseo, Wyon and other undisclosed

So if Anteotech are indeed in the lead breakaway pack and these others would be some of the real contenders for a podium finish, there is plenty of scope to grow. Not forgetting there is some real world benefits in Life Science arena for Anteotech solutions as well.

What I was surprised to hear in David’s presentation was when he said he didn’t know if we were in 1st position or 10th position in the race…. Hmmmm not sure he needed to muddy the waters with that comment in view of potential investors listening in….otherwise a good presentation overall.
