The VOLTABOND™ Binders family is aimed not only at meeting the increasing demand for Energy Stationary Storage (ESS) or Computer, Communication & Consumer (3C) applications, but also on EV batteries for the automotive industry.
Last quarter Trinseo's sales of Latex binders was US $222Million. Trinseo has a range of 7 different latex binders of which Voltabond is one.
My guess is that it is predominately smaller companies that are purchasing an off the shelf Voltabond binder.
The big boys on the other-hand would be manufacturing their own specialised binder. Hence we would deal with them directly.
Just a theory, I could be way off.
