i had been thinking that this announcement was for somewhere near 20% silicon and not our 80-90%, as they would want to take baby steps when introducing new tech.
Much like Apple never gives us the best tech up front, they slowly improve things so we have something to upgrade to.
They could then be testing the higher silicon content while adopting the tried and tested lower but much improved over the current tech used.
I believe that is what was meant by the statement “if the tech continues as it is they can see us being included in their entire range “ or similar at the AGM.
I don’t think it will be as long as most think before being incorporated. Maybe late 24 vehicle production, as per the comments around potentially being incorporated in the design freeze.
IMO this batch will be used to ensure the entire battery assembly goes to plan and then test in vehicles, then announce the design freeze, then begin vehicle production.
I believe this is the most important announcement the company has made, and signals that we are on the way.
Companies wouldn't got to the trouble above unless they had full confidence in a successful conclusion.
