These kinds of incidents are very thoroughly investigated in China. Even more so when it is a foreign firm involved.

I am confident that Galaqxy will need to call upon its highest-level local contacts to make this investigation 'go away'. There will be a fine involved - payable to whom we'd best not ask :).

Further to that however, the Chinese officials will require Galaxy pay very high compensation to each of the injured, some of who, by the sounds of things, may never work again.

Sounds to me like the plant, which was completed "ahead of schedule" may have been better off being built to plan.

We haven't seen the end of this by a long shot. What a nightmare.
