On the other hand, the new immigrants don't share in the same guilt trip baggage that the anglo-saxon population carry. Most of these new immigrants came here to escape the social and political crap from their original home and saw Australia as a country where all its citizens are equal. Some came from persecuted minorities themselves so it will be interesting to see whether they regard our first nation people as persecuted or just trying to jump on a gravy train
