The whole crux of performance and durability is simply Power to Weight Ratio
More power and less weight gives greater performance and range.
Make it lighter and make it more powerful and the issue of range fixes itself. There is a tipping point which I think we have either actually reached or passed. 400 km range and exhilarating performance. We just need to have fake V8 noises as we go along.
