Not entirely sure punter. I do know that included with "The camp" is the powering of the pumps and other mechanical plant that makes the Habanero site operate so they can basically turn off their diesel generators.
The town of Innaminka has only this small population, 12 is it at last census? The town somehow attracts some 50,000 tourists a year.(I think that's the number, not chasing back through stuff to look. It is a lot).
I guess they will get light and power as well. I saw a TV news item when this was first announced and some sort of 'nearby homesteaders' saying they would like to be included but that's not so likely.
Apart from the obvious largesse and promotional value Geodynamics will receive from this is their stated desire to find meaningful use for all the 1kw of power being generated
so that the plant can be kept running at full throttle, at least for some sustained period to demonstrate the constant flow of heat they can draw. An indicator of the concept's ability to provide "Base load" power.
I think they would supply 'nearby' energy/oil prospectors if they cared to run a line in. Remembering the 1kw plant is not a permanent installation. Just for trial purposes.
