That all sounds great Gizard but in reality it's not that easy.

Use stop losses IMO you'll get shaken out of the market. There was certainly no time to get out of PRA on the day of the announcement.

There is DEFINATELY value to be found in stocks that are trending down or sideways. Often when you buy an uptrending stock, it's too late and the drop can be ferocious.

I never diversify for the sake of diversification. The only person who wins there are the brokers IMO.

The trend is ok but certainly not my friend. I prefer to buy when everyone is panicing. Most people don't make money from stocks so why would you follow the herd? They're all doing somthing wrong.

I agree, trading on margin is an absolute disaster waiting to happen.

I post mainly on the stocks I own because they interest me - that's why I bought them. And at the moment I only have 3, but I am not an insider.

Finally, PRA was an extradordinary case. Sometimes it's just sheer bad luck to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The only thing PRA holders could do right yesterday was get out straight away.
