I just thought that it was interesting that they were unemployed and this guy was fighting outside the court over one of his mates in November - got enormous media interest.
I am in no way saying that he is not guilty of anything but sometimes I wonder how these terrorist laws are really worked out in reality and how much discretion is involved.
He certainly has links to crazy clerics but a machine gun? $200 car and unemployed? I see worse at midnight in the streets of Perth even.
We'll see what happens I guess but we know that C/Wlth Depts (DFAT/DIMA) can do in terms of making huge errors and I would not want to see any ombudsman involved.
History will tell us more - all we can do is watch and hope they get the real ones rather than Mus-lim louts off the street.
