You say on the other silly $1 thread that you are happy to be corrected about Clean. So here you go.

The reason that clean is NOT a gimmick is due to the fact that it is the world first smart clean light ( other clean lights exist already) and as such has the ability to be be scheduled. What that means is the light acts like a normal white/colour bulb during the waken hours and then it can be programmed to shift into cleaning mode during the hours when its normally not in use.

The applications are huge and due to the fact that its not much more $$ than a the colour light and has the same 23 year life span, why wouldn't customers buy it. There is no claim ( at this stage) on it killing virus', but its effectiveness on e coli and salmonella is significant and from a distance of 4 feet. For me this means fantastic news for use above the kitchen breakfast bar, in cafes, restaurants, hotels etc. The tech is aim at being introduced into strip. This mean, office desks, bathrooms and kitchens can have the extra cleaning from a scheduled light overnight.

The tech remains in the queue for testing its effectiveness on cleaning other nastiest such as Mould. This is far from a gimmick...Watch this space.
