After reviewing the index last night and brushing up on the criteria, I agree that EML is all but guaranteed to get in with the re-balance next week (If not earlier with BAL).

But is there really much to see here? Quant funds have likely known this since before any of us decided to think about it and will have plenty of vol to vend into the index fund buyers.

Long term it's better to be included than not be included and index inclusion does attract more flows, more eyes etc etc.. but short term I think the stats show it's a bit of a crapshoot as to the direction of the share price.
