Thank you for your insights here. I do understand Australia is a tier 1 jurisdiction, otherwise I would be much more hesitant to invest. And that is certainly a great point about relations with indigenous people - it's actually a point that I didn't consider in the question, but good to know nonetheless.

My main points of concern are that it seems as if the work being done by junior exploration companies seems to have been getting completely ignored - i.e. good drill results, positive PEAs/PFSs/DFSs etc. and financing seems to either be drying up or on unfavorable terms - at least in Canada, that is.
