    My apologies I thought it was said with sarcasm . In answer who knows atm it depends on a lot of variables, but if it is big and rich they can dig a long way and be economic. If it is rich, but a small sliver with a occasional small pod at depth it may be marginal plus hard to locate. Grade and volume are the key same as any mining operation. Underground mining costs a lot more than open pit too so it needs to be rich and substantial for that reason too.
