Forget the past few decades, the treatment of first Australians from first white colonial settlement has been described as amounting to a deliberate policy of genocide. FYI at the end of 18th Century and at the time of British first settlement there was estimated to be 1 million first Australians inhabiting our country. At the beginning of the 20th Century there was estimated 125,000 first Australian people surviving. How else could you describe it other than as genocide.
