Ore reserves are everything to a mining company, I would think they get less attention than they deserve, especially considering how bullish gold is. Aurion around July or possibly later they should announce significant reserve upgrades of around 30%---thats not only Aurion but Newcrest in June, Lihir Gold in October. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The perceived weakness in Aurion is it's low reported reserves and the shorter mine lives. A reserve upgrade however will go a long way to fixing this up. --------------------------------------------------------------------- On the sector as a whole you could see some profit taking as it has risen quite spectacuarly over the last 12 months or so.
