Paladin a thought provoking post........ I wish I'd been that methodical when I started trading a bit many moons ago......... so I am not gonna pretend to be some wisea#s monkey and say this is the way it should be done and there in truth 1000s of trading rules we all swear by......... most importantly for mine is always trust your instincts and that is because if you do and you are wrong, you won't beat yourself up....... getting beaten up by the market is bad enough and then you give yourself a flurry of uppercuts....... not good..... Trading is all about strong discipline and straight forward psychology........ what I liked about the video nitetrader posted and i've never heard of those POW-check short wearing goons ever before BUT........ what i loved about it was they displayed humility and good humour (strong psychological traits) but just as importantly, the narrative revealed that they always traded with tight stops or at least stops which they were comfortable with and they felt no emotion (did you notice that) no real emotion about the moment they were stopped out....... this is a great rule in trading.... 'get square and take another look'.... I'll g'tee you you look at the whole trade/stock etc in a totally different way........ Good luck........... and Buddha-speed
