Yes, it is a very worrying situation. We can all see what is happening under our noses, but can not say anything about. An ordinary Pom who wants to migrate to Oz has little chance- a friend's brother was told he was too fat( quite funny when you think of some of our corpulent ministers)- another very skilled young couple,in banking & theatre, had to promise to spend thousands of pounds on some wacky business plan just for the privilege of emigrating. And they were from Surrey.SURREY mind you. Look at the background of all Sydney taxi drivers- no idea of local "knowledge". There is absolutely no serious discussion allowed in any of the media- we are fast going down the path being taken in UK,Holland,Denmark etc. So many of the values of freedom in all areas that we fought two wars for are threatened. I hope I shall not be "punished" for commenting on this very disturbing article. I have also just been watching Stephen Sackur on the BBC questioning the Swedish Prime Minister , where the town of Malmo has a huge immigration problem.
