I don't know how our welfare system stacks up with other countries or for that matter in comparison to Denmark.
However, in some ways it reminds me of the Howard/Costello $3,000 baby bonus system that was engineered for the purpose of increasing population. Its purpose was not for young single mothers and school kids to shack up to make babies for the sole purpose of rorting the system and collect the $3k to spend on themselves.
Unfortunately, some of these governments come out initially with good intentions only to find out later that they have created a bigger mess in the long run.
I am not for the White Australia Policy all over again.
Then again, i am not for people groups whose sole aim is to invade our shores legally with the pretense of fitting in with society and yet want to completely disassociate themselves from the norm and introduce their own religious cultures and laws within our legal system.
At what cost will this be to future Australia?
If this means i am heralded as being a racist, then so be it.
It will not change my view.
Tolerance is fine.
As long as you have one eye over your shoulder not knowing who is behind you. Not a nice friendly way to bring up your children is it?
