Totally agree - markets abhor instability and we are experiencing that and will do for the rest of the year. Current weakness in the ASX is pretty much down to what is happening on the US markets and nothing much to do with what is happening in Australia.
DOW is down around 200 points overnight so we won't get any relief today - though maybe yesterdays fall was over done - perhaps a small bounce today with any luck.
