The House and land together total 650k. As it’s my first home, there won’t be stamp duty. It’s a home design that I love. I guess I’m more so trying to reassure myself that I’m not making an awful decision. I mean, at the end of the day, regardless of what the market does, I’ll end up with a house that I’m happy with in an area that isn’t too far from civilisation. If this was purely for investment and not a home to live in, perhaps I’d be a think a bit more critically. Obviously, I hope in 10-20 years it pays off and increases in value a decent amount. It could be worse, i could be buying in a sellers market, at least there’s that
