For decades I've watched many people get filthy rich under the guise of "...In the Interest of Sport", some of the corrupt got caught but most of the brazen escape on the naivete of claiming these "amateur" sports events are for the greater good.

What foolish community thinks that putting their hand up and celebrating spending millions on a bid for any of these events is an awesome investment and worth the risk, whilst succesful bids end up with decades of debt hidden by political smoke and mirrors?

Manipulated estimates of 2.2 billion which just so happen to end up roughly needing 6 billion was supposed to just slip under the radar as the return will be justified in some screwed up economists spread sheet.

The financial acceptance of these events, hinge on hundred of thousands poor gullible voluntary man hours, whilst sports marketing executives and sporting paid bureaucrats finger through glossy waterfront real estate markets on the back of these sods blood, sweat and tears.

This weeks decision to renig on holding 2026 'Victorian' games just further exposes the ludicrous nature of sports organisations who will use this for even greater financial gain at the expense of every local community of that state.

One things for certain, the "sporting" fat cats will not let this decision affect their private financial gains and will use the empathy of many well meaning disappointed sporting enthuisasts.
