Next month will see APEC 2018 hosted in Port Moresby and it is likely that Peter O'Niel will make a major announcement regarding Papua LNG at the APEC summit. The Papua LNG owners have previously stated a decision on FEED in 2HY18 and APEC will present the perfect opportunity. This $12 billion project will turbocharge PNG's economy once construction begins and Steamships will be in the prime seat to reap those rewards.
