If you think RC delivered nothing, and you hold the stock you need to think twice about what you write. Look back at the state of the company before he arrived. It was on the verge of administration because of the maturity profile of its debt. That was his first priority and he resolved that.

Second was to try and get deals over the line. CRUX was always the gold reward for NXS. As long as we held onto that and could realise the best deal we had, other assets were purely to supplement inward cashflows. They have been dormant for so long that a deal to take them forward and realise their potential was always going to be good. I think the deal with Shell is a cop out and it's a pity the board are onto a too good a wicket at NXS. They have been the only one's to retire out of NXS.

As for Blon, if I had of bought my shares below 25c, I would think this was a great deal also. But I started investing in NXS in the days when the share price was in the $1.60s and it had the potential to be a $5 stock on the back of commercialising CRUX. Have some empathy for us long term holders that have long believed that we could see a quality asset deliver well above average returns. We saw the company make some absolutely ridiculous decisions that have led to the sellout to Shell. I wouldn't have an issue if those responsible had of also gone.

But instead only IT departed and the rest of the board that have to take some responsiblity for where us longer term holders that will never see our original investment back. Instead of departing they made sure probably the only guy with cogliones big enough to take on Shell departed the company and they continue to pay themselves inflated salaries. Add it all up and work out how much they take out of the company each year and what they have delivered.

So think twice about the comments you make as I'm reasonably confident that if any analyst will run the numbers and compare what NXS would have achieved if they sold down to 50% versus the Shell deal, that the deal may not be as good as the consistently poor quality announcement made this afternoon.
