I think you'll find BFM that much of the anger in Spain was directed against the government as the people felt they had not been told the truth about what happened. The Spanish govt has much to lose in the forth coming election if it is shown that AQ was behind the bombing atrocity. They supported the illegal US led invasion of Iraq and if AQ was responsible,then this bombing is part of a reprisal operation, a consequence of the "much safer world" we have thanks to the ill conceived preemptive strike. Little Johnny is quite right. There is a real danger that the same could happen here. Of course, he too was a promulgator of the great lie. Amazing how short people's memories are....
