Op shops are great. I agree that one can find brand names and better quality clothes and items at an op shop. I dread the day that all the good stuff has filtered through and junk is all that's available. But...there will always be deceased estates and clean outs when people move to retirement homes or down size...an inadvertently...quality merchandise ends up in the 'junk' shop. One needs to be on the look out on a regular basis. The fun part is like your situation...no intention to go but drawn there and several bargains await. Maybe a fig tree lurks nearby! ;)
