The issue is that the benefits of vaccine ebb over time. Because the Israelis are now into the second booster phase within a year, it suggests that multiple boosters will be required every year for the indefinite future. I'm not sure if there is anywhere left on earth to test whether natural herd immunity would be more effective which seems a shame. Drug companies and the lobbyists are going to do well out of this one. The options are clear now, either get vaccinated or become an outcast of society which means that 60% of Australians will be outcast as vaccine uptake now totals about 40 %. In the US it is about 50%.
