Good point and suggestion however imo short selling should not be permitted at all as it helps to distort the Equities market more than the property market were you cannot do that at all. It was never permitted in Australia but took this bad idea from the USA and we now stuck with a bad idea which the brokers must love to earn them extra brokerage imo.
