I don';t understand why the NHS is always (over decades) under attack and cash strapped. the cost of social health service is balanced by the enormous savings in sick leave, chronic illness, public health, early retirement for health reasons that such easy access to health services enables.
the only problem with health services is when govts decide they should be able to cut funding to health, as happened under Abbott (historical fact).
policians should never be allowed to manage a budget imo. they aren't intelligent enough for such vital decision-making.
and yes thats either side. we just happen to have now a treasurer who listens to expert advice. an accidental benefit I'm sure.
