One of Australia’s largest Catholic hospital operators, St John of God, has warned the country’s public health system risks being overwhelmed if private providers are not put on a more sustainable footing.
As the $22 billion private hospital sector faces intense financial stress driven by rising labour and input costs and constrained revenue, operators have welcomed an urgent review launched by Health Minister Mark Butler

And what will put them on a sustainable footing?
The federal socialist government getting out of their way and allowing them to service sick patients in the same high standard manner they always have rather than restrict their business in pursuit of collectivist ambitions.

I had hopes this government might follow the sensible path that the Hawke/Keating govt did, but day by day their true colour - red - is coming to the fore.
